Dr. Konstantina Svokos

Dr. Konstantina Svokos is a highly skilled neurosurgeon specializing in pediatric neurosurgery and complex spine surgery. She earned her Bachelor’s in Biology from the University at Albany, SUNY, and her Doctor of Osteopathy and Master’s in Neuromuscular Sciences from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2010.

Dr. Svokos completed her residency in Neurological Surgery at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and fellowships in Pediatric Neurosurgery at the University of Colorado and Complex Spine Surgery at Brown University. Since 2017, she has been an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery and Pediatrics at Brown University and a Pediatric Neurosurgeon at Rhode Island Hospital, where she also directs Fetal Neurosurgery. Board-certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Surgeons, Dr. Svokos holds medical licenses in Pennsylvania, Colorado, and Rhode Island. Her clinical expertise includes oncology, epilepsy, and fetal myelomeningocele repair, achieving a milestone with the first such repair in New England in 2018.

An active researcher and author, Dr. Svokos has numerous peer-reviewed publications and has presented at various conferences. She is a member of several professional societies, including the New England Neurosurgical Society and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Svokos is dedicated to advancing neurosurgery through her clinical work, teaching, and research.

Dr. Craig Eberson

​Dr Eberson graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and subsequently from Rutgers Medical School in New Jersey.  He completed an Orthopedic Residency and Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship at Brown University, followed by a Pediatric Orthopedic Fellowship at The Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.  Currently, he is a Professor of Orthopedics at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University, where he also serves as the Vice Chairman for Education in the Department of Orthopedics and the Chief of the Division of Pediatric Orthopedics.  His practice focuses on pediatric spinal deformity (including scoliosis and kyphosis), as well as pediatric orthopedic trauma, neuromuscular conditions, and pediatric foot deformity. He is passionate about education, having previously served as Orthopedic Residency Program Director at Brown, as well as having lectured and led faculty development activities at multiple institutions nationally. He has lectured nationally and internationally on topics as diverse as giving feedback in an academic setting, caring for pediatric orthopedic trauma, the treatment of early onset scoliosis and scoliosis associated with spinal cord or spinal fluid abnormalities, as well as other topics. While not at work, he enjoys the outdoors (biking, hiking, fly fishing) and traveling with his wife and three sons.
